Ingredients
  

  • 1 Baguette French or Sourdough
  • 1 Apple Sliced, Such as Honeycrisp
  • 1 cup Blue Cheese Cambozola works well here
  • 2 tablespoon Honey For drizzling
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Thyme To garnish
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt To taste

Instructions
 

Prep the Ingredients

  • Preheat oven to 400°F
  • Remove the blue cheese from the fridge and allow to warm up for easier spreading.
  • Slice baguette into ¼ inch slices and arrange in an even layer on a sheet tray.
  • Drizzle the bread with olive oil and sprinkle with a little sea salt.
  • Bake the toasts for 5 minutes, remove from oven and flip. Then, bake another 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from oven and cool
  • Remove core from apple and slice into ⅛" thick slices. Toss with a little fresh lemon juice and set aside.
  • Remove the thyme leaves from the thyme stems and set aside.

Assemble the Crostini

  • Once the toasts are cool, spread the blue cheese on the toast and top with a few slices of apple.
  • Arrange crostini on a plate, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with fresh thyme. Serve with some love and enjoy! :)
